He was also a member of the PwC global Strategy Council, led the Deals practice for PwC India and was also the leader of Telecom, Entertainment and Media practice. He has extensive experience /expertise in areas relating to financial reporting, audit, mergers and acquisitions, crisis management and corporate advisory work. His experience in India and overseas encompasses multiple sectors including Consumer products, Manufacturing, Telecom, Technology, Healthcare and Entertainment & Media. Mr. Kapoor is a Fellow member of the Chartered Accountants Institute of India, a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a member of the Certified Fraud Examiners, USA. Mr. Kapoor is also Chairman of the NGO Save the Children since 2018. He has recently been appointed as Chairman of Tata Steel Minerals Canada Limited.

Mrs. NEELU KHANNA Vice President

Mrs. Neelu Khanna is a social activist and has been working for uplifting the economically-deprived children for the last 20 years. She is currently on the Board of John Martyn Memorial Trust and the Managing Trustee of Aasraa Trust which educates, skill trains and nurtures 3350 underprivileged children. She co-initiated Street Smart, a programme which brings in begging children, rag pickers and glue sniffing children to Aasraa's study centers, where they are groomed and then admitted to schools. She was instrumental in starting the 1st Mobile Classroom so that there is no unreachable or unteachable child. She also initiated Aasraa's certification as a NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) study and vocational training center for structuring the academic & skills training program for children outside the school system. Aasraa signed MOUs with the education department of the Government of Uttarakhand and runs 6 underperforming government schools.

Mr. N. RAVI SHANKER Chairman, Campus Sub-Committee

Shri N Ravishanker is currently the Chancellor at DIT University, Dehradun. Shri Ravishanker was a Member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). He was the Chief Secretary to Government of Uttarakhand from October, 2014 to July, 2015. He has also held the posts of Secretary to Government of India in various Departments. Shri Ravishanker has immense experience in Planning, Policy Formulation, Project Management, Fund Management, Research Initiatives monitoring of IT & Telecom sector, in the Educational Administration, Social Sector Administration & Law & Order. Apart from his role as Chancellor at DIT, He is a Visiting Faculty at IIT Roorkee and National Center for Good Governance (NCGG), Mussoorie. He is also Adviser to University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun.

Mrs. USHA RAJEEV Chairman, Finance Sub-Committee

Ms. Usha Rajeev is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Graduate of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. She graduated with B. Com (Hons) from SRCC, University of Delhi. Ms. Rajeev joined Price Waterhouse in 1989 and became a Partner in 1999. In her career spanning nearly 30 years, she has worked with Price Waterhouse, Chartered Accountants in various roles, the last one being the 'Risk & Quality Leader, India' for the India network member firms, till she took an early retirement in May 2018.

Mr. Shyam Saran is a career diplomat who joined the Indian Foreign Service and served in several capitals of the world including Beijing, Tokyo and Geneva. He has been India’s Ambassador to Myanmar, Indonesia and Nepal and High Commissioner to Mauritius. After a career spanning 34 years in the Indian Foreign Service, Mr. Saran was appointed India’s Foreign Secretary in 2004 and held that position till his retirement from service in September 2006. Subsequent to his retirement, he was appointed Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for Indo-US civil nuclear issues and later as Special Envoy and Chief Negotiator on Climate Change. Mr. Saran is a prolific writer and speaker and his book, “How India Sees the World” is being launched next month. On January 26, 2011, Mr. Saran was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the President of India for his contribution to Civil Service.


Hema Badhwar Mehra is an alumnus of Welham Girls’ School, Dehra Dun and Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow and the recipient of both School & College Gold Medals for European History, Creative Writing & English Language.

She is currently the vice President of The New Friends Colony RWA, which works closely with URJA and environmental groups. Ms. Mehra has authored several short stories for children. As an ex-student Ms. Mehra has worked consistently as an Alumnus, organising fund raisers, alumni activities and projects. She is one of the Founder Members of the official Welham Girls’ Alumni Association set up in 2007 as well as its President for the period 2011- 2015.

Renu Basu currently Senior Vice President - Global Sales & Marketing at The Indian Hotels Co Ltd, a Tata Company. A seasoned professional with over three decades of experience, she has been laser focused on ensuring IHCL is the single most iconic and profitable company in the hotel industry.

Ms Basu represents IHCL as an Executive Committee Member on PATA and has held positions including Board Member - British Business Group, Chairperson of Tourism - Confederation of Indian Industry Western Region, Chairperson of the Tourism Committee - Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry. She has been the Chairperson of IHCL POSH Committee since 2018 and is on the Board of Directors of Roots Corporation Limited, Taj Madras Flight Kitchen and Tata Value Homes. She was featured in Impact’s 50 Most Influential Women from the advertising, media and marketing industry in India. Earlier this year 2020 she was conferred an International Travel Award by the Pacific Travel Writers Association as the Best Professional Marketing.

She has been an investment banker, a researcher, an editor, a teacher and school leader across continents. A keen observer of how economics, foreign policy and investments affect the policy and thence practice of education, she works with leaders to design interventions that improve the quality and process of education. Designing education processes to realise the potential of individual students is at the centre of her education philosophy. Meeta W Sengupta is a Fellow of the Salzburg Global Seminar, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts et al, entitled to use the letters FRSA after her name.

Jayant has previously served in leadership roles at India’s National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), including Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer. Most of his diverse experience of over 30 years, spanning industry, government, and consulting, was with the Tata group, India’s largest business conglomerate. Jayant championed apprenticeship reforms for Indian industry and played a pivotal role in shaping India’s Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 2014. Jayant has served as the Chairman of the Government of India's Special Task Force on Apprenticeship Rationalization and served on two Government of India Committees, on the Optimization of Sector Skill Councils, and on Developing Industry Linkages for ITIs. Jayant has been Chairman of CII in India’s largest state.
